Your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and how to use them in HomesWallet.
Your rights
- Access and copy (Art. 15): you download the household's content yourself in Settings → Data & privacy; we send you a copy of the data the server keeps in the clear on request.
- Rectification (Art. 16): you correct most data yourself in the app; for the account e-mail write to us.
- Erasure (Art. 17): yourself, in Settings → Delete your account / the household (see "Account deletion").
- Restriction (Art. 18) and objection (Art. 21) to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability (Art. 20): the JSON and CSV download is in a machine-readable format.
- Withdrawing consent: the owner turns AI, e-mail for bills and proven savings off in Settings at any time.
- A complaint to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (https://www.cpdp.bg) or to the supervisory authority of your country.
How to use them
Write to legal@homeswallet.com from your account's e-mail or from the app (Help → Privacy and data). We reply within one month; for complex requests the period may be extended by two more months, and we will tell you so. Using your rights is free of charge. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
Since the household's content is encrypted and we do not have the keys, we cannot read, correct or send it for you — which is why downloads and corrections are made in the app.
