- What is HomesWallet?
- A web app for household spending: receipts, bills by e-mail, subscriptions, deadlines, the pantry and goals. It works with spending only — it does not track salaries and is not a bank.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — 7 days with the VIP plan's features, no card. The trial does not turn into a paid subscription by itself; after it your data stays available to view and download.
- Do I need to install an app?
- No store app is needed. Open homeswallet.com in your browser; on a phone you can add it to the home screen and it works like an app.
- Who can read our data?
- Only the members of your household. Everything is encrypted on your device with the household key before it reaches us, and we do not have the key.
- What happens if I lose my keys?
- You unlock with a passkey, a remembered device or the 12 recovery words. If you lose every way, nobody can restore the data — so keep the 12 words in a safe place.
- Is AI required?
- No. AI is turned on only by the owner. Without it the app reads receipts' QR codes and calculates everything on your device. With it only what is needed is sent, without names, addresses, IBANs or personal ID numbers.
- Do you connect to my bank?
- No. There is no bank login. You upload a bank statement (CSV, PDF or camt) or forward bills by e-mail to your household's address.
- Can the whole family use it?
- Yes. Every adult signs in with their own account and role; children are family profiles without a sign-in.
- How are savings counted?
- Only with proof: a receipt, bill or statement. Every number has a formula and a document, and the rules are on "How we count savings".
- How do I cancel?
- From "Plan and payments" in Settings, at any time. Access stays until the end of the paid period. Details: "Cancellation and refunds".
- Which languages does HomesWallet speak?
- Bulgarian, English, German, French, Italian and Serbian (Latin script).
- Does it work offline?
- Partly. The app keeps an encrypted copy on your device and allows limited work offline; it syncs when the connection is back.
