Proven savings
Savings you can check
Most apps show "possible savings". HomesWallet counts only what documents confirm, and shows how it was calculated.
Two levels of proof
Level A comes from documents the server signed at the moment it saw them — for example the QR data of a receipt. Level B is calculated from your records. Amounts entered by hand never become Level A.
Cautious rules
The rules are deliberately conservative, so the number is never inflated.
- Comparison with your own median of at least 3 purchases in 90 days.
- A 50% cap per line and an overall monthly limit.
- A cancelled subscription counts for at most 12 months.
Numbers come from code, not AI
Every number in a text comes from a calculated result. Every saving has a "Why?" with the formula and the document, and "I don't agree" lets you dispute it.
How to start
Scan receipts and forward bills as usual.
Follow a suggestion that is useful to you.
The next document proves the saving — or does not.
Questions and answers
- Can I show my report to someone else?
- Yes. A published report can be checked on the Verify page with its code.
- Why is my saving smaller than I expected?
- Because we count only what is proven and apply the caps. Better small and true than large and made up.
- Where is the full methodology?
- On the "How we count savings" page — with every rule and examples.
