Forwarding from Abv

Steps

1. 1Copy the bills address: HomesWallet → Settings → "E-mail for bills and offers" → "Copy".
2. 2Abv does not offer automatic forwarding of mail from chosen senders for every account. Check in the mailbox settings whether you have "Forwarding" with a sender filter.
3. 3If there is no such option, ask the provider (electricity, water, phone…) to send the e-invoices directly to the bills address. Most have this setting in the online account or on their customer line.
4. 4Bills sent directly by the provider carry its signature and show "Signed by …".

How bills arrive

The e-mail is encrypted at once with the household key. When you open HomesWallet, the app opens it on your device, reads the bill and shows it in "Inbox" → "To review" with the source of each value. Nothing is saved until you tap "Confirm"; then you get a reminder 3 days before the due date and on the day.

A manual "Forward"

You can tap "Forward" on a single bill — the app will read it. But a manual forward removes the provider's signature, so the sender cannot be verified: it becomes an "E-mail that looks like a bill", with no bank account for payment and no reminder until you tick "I checked — this is my bill". Automatic forwarding (a filter or rule) keeps the signature.

If a provider's bills do not arrive

• Mail for the household's addresses is received by Cloudflare, which accepts only e-mails that pass the sender's SPF or DKIM check. If the provider's mail is set up wrongly, the e-mail is refused there and never reaches us — ask the provider to send invoices from a correctly set up address, or download them from your account with them.
• E-mails over 10 MB or with more than 10 attachments are not accepted. Gmail tells you with a failed-forwarding e-mail.
• Check that the filter matches the address the provider sends from — it sometimes changes.
• After the bills address is changed, the old one accepts mail for 14 more days — update your filters in that time.
